  2. The EB tariff increase is an expected one. comparing other states this rates are low, at the same time this steep increase will effect ( already effected ) the middle as well as the lower midlle class. It will be little useful if this is monthly payable, instead of once in two months.

  6. Dear vijayakumar,

    Calculation
    As its 330 units it comes under - users upto 500 units.

    First 200 units *2= Rs 400
    Remaining 130 units*3 = Rs 390
    Fixed charge = Rs 30
    Total= Rs 820

    Thank you

  10. i am from middle class family. in emi basis i have bought all the home need products in emi basis. due to this increased eb traffic we are very much suffesticated in using the electricity. my children are really suffering a lot. jaya govt doesn't think of the middle class people. saying that making the tamilnadu to be 1st in all that in all sources itseems, that the eb traffic comes first, next is bus fare etc. some people are taking crores without the knowledge of govt, when it comes to the notice of the govt, also they doesn't do any thing, instead filling a case on them and just increasing the media's rating......it's alllllllll our fate which have to be faced by tamilians.

  12. We both are retired and upper middle class people. We very cautiously use elec. in such a way using only clf bulbs all over, switching off fans every now and then use lights only at the required places etc.. But we have an very old fridge at home. We use washing machine once a week. But we switch on AC for 2 hours daily.. In this situation our unit rates have come upto 860 for which we have to pay Rs. 3840 or so. Pls advice me whether our usage is more, or else do we have to change the metre unit.. we are confused. We have never paid such a huge sum so far.

  13. I am really unhappy the system of EB billing collection , they said that chennai peoples can make their EB payment through postoffice also, but most postofficers dosnt accept , they just giveany excuse of system problem or server problem, this happen every 2month same problem, from past 4 time i get same responce from pammal and airport post office,
    * at eb counter there will be 50 people but they have 2 to 8 cards each, but eb counter has 3 to 4 holes , but only 1 staff in one hole, remaining close, it take much time to wait , apart from they say same problem if we say why so late ?, system bystem problem,

    I just request to govt , why dont you keep extra staff to upgrade manpower ? No need any govt employe, any single girl or boy who work in any shop with income 5000 rs per month, he will do 5of your govt worker at one time, whom you pay 20 to 40,000 for old and lazy ☹
